There's too Many Bad Youth Sports Experiences

At the age of 7, 9/10 kids are involved in at least one sport.

But, by the age of 15, between 70-80% have quit sport all together.

The #1 reason they quit: It wasn't fun anymore!

It shouldn't be this way.

The physical, social, and emotional benefits of sport are far too great to continue to let young people have negative experiences in sport and quit playing!

Kids Deserve Something Better

Every young person deserves a sporting experience that combines fun, challenge, support, and connection.

And learning to play pickleball is the perfect avenue to give kids something better in sport!

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America for a reason. At an RYG Athletics Pickleball Camps, your child will learn the game in a fun and supportive environemnt!

What Parents are Saying...

"Coach Luke was so organized and enthusiastic that I felt confident signing up and leaving my children with him and the other coaches, which was a first for me as a mom. As a soccer coach, I was impressed by how well the kids were taught about handling frustration and building confidence. Looking forward to my kids teaching me more about pickleball!!"

  • Mindset Lesson: 10 minutes
  • Pickleball Lesson: 10 minutes
  • Court Drills & Competitions: 95 minutes

  • Court Drills & Competitions: 85 minutes
What do the mindset and leadership lessons consist of?

This is one of the primary ways RYG Athletics is different from other sports camps!

We spend dedicated time teaching young athletes the mindset and leadership qualities needed to become the best version of themselves on and off the court.

Each mindset lesson is based on the work and research of some the leading sports psychologists in the word, and the lessons provides athletes with actionable information and strategies they can use to build a resilient mindset and become a "mentally tough" athlete.

Each leadership lesson provides athletes with actionable information and strategies they can use to lead themselves and their teammates in sports and in life.

What's different about an RYG Pickleball Camp?

A lot!

First, RYG Athletics Camps use a Constraints-Led Approach to coaching underpinned by an Ecological Dynamics theoretical framework.

We have a why behind our what.

Everything we do on court is about developing adaptable skills that help athletes get better at the game.

Too many camps, clinics, and practices attempt to isolate skills outside of the context they occur in. This isn't how sport skills are learned or games are played.

We put our athletes in real games, modified games, or game-like situations, that help the skills and habits we're teaching emerge in the way they happen in the game.

Second, your athlete will receiving professional coaching. All of our directors are professional coaches with extensive backgrounds in their sport. Our court coaches are trained in our frameworks and methods and our held to the highest standard.

What if my child doesn't like camp?

We offer a 100% money back guarantee. If you or your child is not satisfied with their experience at camp, we'll refund your registration fee.
